The Globe Valve is widely used and suitable for On / Off or Regulating fluid flow. Main single seating in globe valves is parallel  to line of flow and the flow pattern is offset type, not a straight line through flow as gate valve or ball valve. This design affords a  better closure than a gate valve. The change in direction of fluid flow produces increased resistance and considerable  pressure drop. Because the flow is directed against the disc in a symmetrical fashion, there is very little wear on the valve parts  and is one of the easiest valves to repair.  Globe Valve can be Bolted Bonnet construction or Union Bonnet Types. Bolted  bonnet Globe Valves are very easy to maintenanace.  Valve seat can be intergal or replaceable as per application suit. 3 Way  Globe also an option for Mixing & Diverting application operated by manual, pneumatic or electrical. 

 Globe valves are also available with range of operation such as Manual Hand Wheel operated / Gear operated / Pneumatic  Diaphragm Actuator operated / Pneumatic Cylinder Actuator Operated / Electrical Actuator operated / Motorized Actuator  Operated. Globe Valve also can supplied with wide range of Disc such as Plug Type Disc, Flat Disc, Regulating Disc, Soft  Seated Disc, Guided Disc etc to suit various application. ​ Rising Stem
Outside Screw & Yoke (OS & Y) design keeps the stem threads outside the valve and is recommended where high  temperatures, corrosives, and solids in the line might damage the stem threads inside the valve. When Globe Valve will open,  the stem extends with hand wheel indicates the position of valve opening.

​Valve Trim 
A trim means internal working parts of valves. In Globe Valves the Stem (Spindle), Seat Ring, Disc, Disc Nut, Back Seat Bush,  Gland Bush is trim.

Integral Seat

These types’ seats are integral with body casting. Machined into the body casting.

Renewable Seat  Separate Seat Rings that screw into the valve body, which is called as Renewable Seats.

Jupiter Controls valve Globe Valves are Rising Stem, Rising Hand Wheel, Bolted Bonnet Construction, threads are away from the line  fluid and easy to lubricate.

Jupiter Controls valve Globe Valves are generally available with Plug Type Disc, which is designed to give leak tight seating over a  long period of in built wear life. Jupiter Controls Globe valve body seat ring is shoulder type, threaded body seat ring which has  large taper area that is for ample seating. Two nos. slots are provided on body seat ring, which is for easy removal for servicing  at site. Welded type seat ring or Integral seat ring are also available in on reqiest. All Globe Valve stem is made from solid one  piece construction. The yoke bush of Globe Valve has a long thread engagement for accurate stem alignment. The standard  range of Jupiter Controls Globe Valve is sizes from 1/2" (DN15) to 12” (DN300).

• Swinging Eye Bolts facilitate easy access to the stuffing box.

• Back seating feature facilitates repacking of the stuffing box on line with the valve in fully open position.

• Seat Ring Screwed in to the body (Replaceable Type) or integral type.

• Stellited Disc, Seat Ring & Back Seat can also be offered on special request.

• HHigher Pressure & Higher Size Valves are provided with Thrust Bearings and also with Gear drive arrangements.

Forged Steel Globe Valve: 

​Jupiter Controls Valves Forged Steel Globe Valves are Bolted Bonnet, outside screw and yoke type, Rising Spindle construction. Jupiter Controls Forged Valves Body and bonnet made from high quality forgings. Jupiter Controls offer Forged Steel Globe Valves in size 1/2” (DN15) to 2” (DN50) to suit various critical, non-critical applications and pressure rating in 800 class.

Jupiter Controls Forged Steel Globe Valve manufacturing range covers Regular Port and Standard Port both types of Valve. Regular Port globe valves have fast delivery or ready stock, for Standard Port globe valve do manufactuing on order basis. Jupiter Controls offer Forged Steel Globe Valve in wide range of Body Materials like ASTM A 105 - Forged Carbon Steel, ASTM A 182 F 304/304L/316/316L - Forgated Stainless Steel 304/304L/316/316L, ASTM A 182 F 11/22 - Alloy Steel to suit industrial application.

Jupiter Controls Forged Steel Globe Valves are available under any Third party inspection also. For High Pressure & Temperature application Stellited F6 Face Seat & Disc available. Forged Globe Valve available is Threaded End, Socket Weld End, Butt Weld End and Flanged End Connection.
